Alison Doody
Alison Doody, born 11 November 1966 in Ireland, is an actress and model. Doody made her acting debut in a Bond movie, A View to a Kill in 1985. In 1989 she played an archaeologist with Nazi sympathies Elsa Schneider in Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade. Siobhan Donevan in A Prayer for the Dying (1997), Charlotte Taffin (1988) and Rebecca Flannery Major League II (1994) were other characters. Doody was asked by a photographer to model and began to perform the role of a model. Then she began a career of commercial modelling. Doody strictly avoided fashion, thongs and glamour during her modeling career. In 1985, after being noticed by the casting directors of the James Bond new film, Doody acted in a tiny part of Jenny Flex as in A View to a Kill. Doody was named as one of the top 12 promising young Actors of 1986 by John Willis Screen World, Vol. 38. Doody was still only aged 18 at the time of her appearance in the Bond character.
