Emma Stone
Emily Jean Stone, also called Emma, was
born in Scottsdale, Arizona on November 6, 1988. She was married to Krista Jean
Stone (nee Yeager), who is a housewife, as well as Jeffrey Charles Stone (CEO
of a contracting firm founder and CEO). Stone is of Swedish, German and British
Isles descent. Stone began acting as a child as a member of the Valley Youth
Theatre in Phoenix, Arizona, where she made her stage debut in the production
of Kenneth Grahame's "The Wind in the Willows". In her teens, Stone
performed in numerous other productions until she decided to make acting her
profession. As per the official account she was the one who presented a
PowerPoint slide show sponsored by the Madonna's Hollywood and called
"Project Hollywood" in an effort to persuade her parents and let her
to leave school and move to Los Angeles. She and her mother made the pitch, and
then moved to LA. Her schooling was done at home, and she spent her time
performing auditions. Her TV debut came when she was chosen to play Laurie Partridge
on the VH1 reality/talent show In Search of the Partridge Family (2004). The
show was followed by a few minor TV performances over the course of the years.
After a string success, her role as Olive in Easy A (2010) was her movie debut.
The school she attended was Xavier College Preparatory in Phoenix, Arizona.
While she is famous as a redhead her true shade is blonde. Judd Apatow was the
one who suggested she change her hair's color to match Superbad (2007). It was
so well received that she decided to keep. She convinced her parents to let her
move to Hollywood when she was age 15 by creating an PowerPoint presentation
aptly titled, Project Hollywood. She began acting at the age of 11 years old
and was a part of Phoenix's Valley Youth Theatre. Here she performed on more
than 16 stages as well as performed with the comedy improv troupe of the
theatre. Caylee Cowan was also a part of the Valley Youth Theatre.
